The SERIO 8000 automatic screen and stencil printing system is tailored for printing on exceptionally large substrates, offering unparalleled ease of use and flexibility characteristic of EKRA. This printer accommodates solder paste or glue applications on substrates up to 1000 x 610 mm (40 x 24 inches) in size.
Its screen and stencil holder boasts a versatile design compatible with stencils or screens of sizes up to 1270 x 1700 mm (50 x 67 inches) without requiring additional adapters. The patented EVA™ (EKRA Vision Alignment System) employs two high-resolution cameras utilizing "Look-up + Look-down" technology to ensure accurate recognition of low-contrast fiducials and surfaces.
The dual squeegee print head, with its closed-loop regulation, maintains consistent print pressure throughout the entire printing process, independent of substrate characteristics and print parameters. Additionally, the optional automatic 2½ D post-print inspection allows for precise evaluation of printed glue or solder paste location and quality. Compared to traditional 2D systems, this inspection provides qualified feedback on printed pad volume and potential height deviations.
